Great vet! 10/10!! And I’m someone who is hard to please. I honestly would not take my cat anywhere else in Philly. The care here is phenomenal and the staff are all amazing. If you are calling, I would call early in the morning because the phones get busy. Once you are there, it’s smooth sailing and they really cater to your pet’s needs as well as yours. The vet tech, Latoya, is amazing and made the entire experience comfortable. The doctor, Johnathon, was great as well. My cat was relaxed and well cared for. The staff at the desk are also personable and really care about animals. Also, they don’t try to scam you or up-charge. The prices are fair and reasonable. They discuss the costs upfront instead of just proceeding with procedures and surprising you upon departure.

I am beyond grateful for this vet clinic and their amazing staff. When I brought my cat in, she had come home after two weeks severely malnourished and pregnant, and she was in very bad shape. I was very terrified of her passing and I didn’t have enough money to cover the full cost of surgery, but instead of turning me away, they showed so much compassion and worked with me. They willingly did the surgery for a much lower price just so they could save her life. Because of them, my cat is still here today and already doing better just three days later. They truly care about animals and the people who love them. I will never forget the kindness they showed us. Thank you guys so much for saving my baby❤️!!!!

The folks at Girard Vet were very courteous and professional. The doctor was quite knowledgeable and I have no doubts that my kitten received the best of care. The patient rooms were neat and clean. My sole complaint would be that they had only one doc on staff and he seemed to be getting pulled in many directions, resulting in a long-ish wait.

Girard Vet is the best!! I have a temperamental, anxious, aggressive-when-provoked dog. They always handle her with the utmost concern and care. They even found meds for her that don't bankrupt me. My dog loves her best friends at the front desk. The front staff is just as kind and caring as the techs and vets! They always let my dog hide with them and give her treats. I also enjoy talking with them as they're friendly and calm me down when I stress about my dog <3. Truly a great practice! I highly recommend :)

Girard pet clinic was great! We took our dog Bella there for the first time recently, as we are relatively new to the area and needed to establish a relationship with a local vet. The doctor and nurse were very professional and super informative and friendly. They seem to want to work with you on the best care while keeping cost in mind, and took the time to answer all our questions and treated both Bella and us with a lot of respect.
