I had an emergency situation overnight, and I am beyond grateful that Gvets was there when we needed help the most. From the moment we arrived, Dr. Stuart took immediate action with calm confidence, compassion, and professionalism. You can tell instantly that he genuinely cares about both the animals and the people who love them. Dr. Stuart walked me through every step, explained what was happening in a way that was easy to understand, and made sure my pet was stabilized and comfortable. Even in a stressful situation, he created a sense of trust and reassurance that made all the difference. His knowledge, dedication, and quick decision-making are exactly what you want in an emergency veterinarian. Opening his own practice in Watkinsville was clearly the right move — Gvets is organized, c

I brought my kitten here late night after she started having some really strange movements, and I’m so glad I did. The staff was kind, attentive, and clearly cared about what they were doing. Dr. Stuart was especially helpful… he was knowledgeable, explained everything clearly, and was able to diagnose her quickly. She was given a few tests and medication and within a few hours she was back to acting like herself again. I truly can’t thank Gvets enough for taking such great care of my kitten. The pricing was also very reasonable for an emergency/triage clinic. I’ve taken pets to UGA and other emergency hospitals in the past and paid significantly more, but those didn’t come close to having this level of care or experience. The staff was phenomenal! I felt completely confident that my baby w

What impressed me most was their calm, reassuring approach during a stressful situation—exactly what you want when pets and families need support. It’s clear they prioritize both animal well-being and client peace of mind. I cannot say enough great things about our experience at Gvets. We have a new 9 week old puppy that was sick and every staff member was so kind and gracious during our visits. Dr. Stuart demonstrated such great knowledge and we could tell immediately when the situation went dire. Our pup was in great hands throughout the night, and the treatment that she needed was explained and all of our questions answered completely with patience. We had to move her to UGA for continuous care and Gvet has checked in with us every day to check on our sweet girl. Highly recommend!
