Georgetown Carpet, Fairfax Branch

I have purchased multiple carpets from here and they all have worked out great. We picked out a remnant recently that was too big for our space, so they were able to make a second 4’x6’ for just the cost of the edging. That’s good service. I’ll be back to finally replace the wool rug we got here 20 years ago.

Edit: this used to be 5 stars but I should have waited until the rugs were signed, sealed, delivered because the devil is in the details and Satan is in the small stuff, etc., etc. Georgetown Carpet has a very big selection of both ready-made and custom-made carpets and rugs so if you can't find what you're looking for, it's not going to be easy to find at all. The place was spacious, well-lit, clean and neat. I didn't feel like we were being rushed or pushed to make our choices. Here is where the rating went down. Make sure that you confirm the measurements with them - they changed the delivery time, and on the day of delivery, had the wrong size for one of the three rugs we ordered. They were able to remedy this somewhat although one rug was still half an inch off but it took a couple of
