Stahl Exotics has been incredible, especially Dr. Duthie Brown and Dr. Fountain. Dr. Duthie Brown was amazing when my 13-year-old gecko, Pickle, needed to be spayed. She was transparent, communicative, and truly understood how nervous I was. Her kindness and attention to detail made a stressful situation so much easier, and I knew Pickle was in the best hands. Dr. Fountain has also been fantastic. He always takes his time, answers every question, and clearly cares deeply about his patients. He was especially compassionate with my rabbit, Pheona, during her end-of-life care. His support and empathy meant so much to me. I also saw a few of the other female vets at Stahl for my late hamster, Pinkie, who had some complicated health issues. They were always on top of her care, attentive, and

Nice vet. Friendly staff and seemingly very knowledgeable. Services multiple types of exotics and I believe are open/willing to service less-common exotics, though with the disclaimer they may not have all those answers. Very clean and well kept. Hours are also open rather late which is super convenient. Prices seemed pretty reasonable too, especially for an exotic vet.

SEAVS was the best possible care I could have gotten for my pet. I took my hamster gummy to the clinic because many other vets could not see him in time and they met me with such care and compassion the entire way through until the day we ultimately had to decide to put him down. Dr. Nielsen was a true angel throughout, from calling every day sometimes twice a day to update me on his health, to showing me kindness when saying goodbye. The other technicians such as zach and the staff were so kind to my pet gummy and were always attentive to his care. I would drive the 2 1/2 hours from PA every time just to receive the same level of care this clinic provided. Thank you to the staff and hands down if you want the best care, you have to go here!!!

We worked with Dr. Carothers for treatment and surgical removal of a mass on the neck of our African Grey, Jazz. After over a year of following up with multiple vets and being unable to find a solution, we followed a referral to Seavs. The office is about 2 hours away from us, but the treatment has been worth it. Dr. Carothers has been so extremely helpful, friendly, professional, and articulate throughout the entire process. She has kept all lines of communication open and has helped weigh pros and cons of our many decisions along the way, encouraging us to choose the best route for our bird as well as our lives as owners. Our Jazz is much happier and livelier since having her surgery done and we are looking forward to working with Seavs for our future avian needs.

We took our senior piggy here when he unexpectedly got sick. Dr. Cooney was very friendly and professional. She guided us through his diagnosis and thoroughly explained his options and a plan. Unfortunately, he passed away, but she was incredibly patient with us — it took us some time to think about next steps, and she never rushed our decision, even though it was close to closing time.While I haven’t interacted with the other doctors, I would highly recommend her! It’s been a few weeks now, and we even received a handwritten letter in the mail extending her condolences again. Her kindness and compassion truly meant a lot during such a hard time. We still have his brother, and would definitely return to Stahl if he ever needs veterinary care in the future. Thank you for taking such good c
