General Floor - West Chester

Great place. Came for floors. Stayed for Frank and Shawn.

Don was very helpful. My contractor had run out of stock and didn't have anything in house for the color of Luxury Vinyl Plank we wanted. To make matters worse, we were in a time crunch with our floor being roughed up by plumbing work and family visiting in mere weeks. The contractor referred me to Angela at General Floor, but just my luck, she was on vacation and wouldn't be back until the following week. I came into the store anyways, hoping to at least make some kind of headway. Don was there to help find some LVP samples that closely resembled the hardwood we were trying to match. He spent the time walking me thru some of the different products and checking stock. Ultimately found a sample that matched well and was beautiful and, most importantly, IN STOCK. Thanks Don!

We are getting estimates for hardwood flooring and one of the contractors uses General Flooring and suggested we visit to see options. So glad we did, really nice people who are extremely helpful ! Nice assortment of options to look at in a no pressure setting.

This store only provides prices to contractors so pricing can be deceptive. There is no display of any prices whatsoever in the store. So be careful before you visit them as you will never know what price you are paying. They also do not mention it on their website that the prices are disclosed only if there is a contractor account so you could very well waste your time visiting the store.

Thanks to Angela for taking the time to review all my flooring options, knowing that I was interested in something they could not provide at present time (eucalyptus). I left to the showroom with a couple of samples and felt good about moving forward in my flooring journey.
