Dr. Marr and the entire veterinary team has been incredible in the care of my girls. Whether it’s a standard vet visit or an emergency, their expertise, quick action, and compassionate care does not go unnoticed. This veterinary practice is unlike any I’ve ever been to. You come in knowing they treat your animals like one of their own. They take their time, showing patience and care to both the animals and their owners. Dr. Marr has been treating my dog since he was 8 weeks old, and he is almost 3 years old now. I have complete trust in her. My dog, Frank, began showing signs of hip dysplasia when he was only a few months old, and Dr. Marr has carefully monitored his progression and adjusted his treatment plan as needed. Throughout the entire process, she has guided both Frank and me with compassion, clarity, and impressive medical expertise. I live in Ithaca (about two hours away) and still make the drive to see Dr. Marr because I trust her more than anyone with my best friend, Frank. I can’t say enough good things about this veterinary practice. The entire team has been absolutely wonderful with all of my animals, but they have gone truly above and beyond with my newest dog who I rescued as a stray/neglect case with severe skin issues. Rescue dogs often come with extra medical and behavioral challenges, and from day one they treated her with patience, compassion, and zero judgment. Dr. Jamie Marr and her staff at Genesee Valley Veterinary Hospital have provided outstanding care to Grantley, my black lab/chow and best friend. Grantley is approaching 19 years old and has been with Genesee Valley his entire life. I firmly believe the reason Grantley is still with us is because of the complete and cutting-edge care Dr. Marr and her staff (as well as the previous vet), provided over the years. They are professional, caring, pleasant and thorough. Grantley actually enjoys going to their office. Whenever he has a health issue, they provide immediate assistance and follow up. I have been going here with my dog for the past 2 years, and I have nothing but good things to say about the entire staff! They have done everything they can for his unresolving corneal ulcer, chronic cough, and urinary incontinence, on top of all of his wellness visits!
