Fur Grooming Salon & Self-Bathe

If you had asked me a few months ago how I felt about this salon, I would’ve given rave reviews. The staff there has always been wonderful and accommodating, and my dog and I left happy with the service. But after my experience today, if I could give less than 1 star for this review, I would. My partner and I bring our dog in every few months to use self service wash and get a nail trim. The self service is easy to use, though I wish they provided better towels as the weird black shamis do absolutely nothing to dry my short haired Pug/Chihuahua mix dog. One thing about my dog, he tends to be a bit anxious, and it takes two of us to hold him and keep him in the tub. He has a previous leg injury that makes his back leg weaker and at a higher risk for tearing his cranial cruciate ligament

Truly, the most talented and more importantly, compassionate groomers, I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Marie and Nicole took my big old husky, Whisky, and gave him a new chance to find his "Furever" home. You see, Whisky is a 7 year old rescue dog with "Paws For Life K9 Rescue" and he was in the parking lot for a mobile adoption event when Nicole and Marie decided to help him with his luck. They took a shaggy boy, in peak shedding season, and gave him a beautiful new look. I was able to take pictures and video record the entire process and what brought me to tears was the sheer compassion that they have for the dogs they groom. Please support this amazing team. Your dog will thank you for bringing them.

Wow, they do not take any new clients over 10 years of age because they are blind and do not stand up long so they take longer to groomer — even though my dog is 10 but has none of those issues. I’ll gladly take my business elsewhere. Note they have not groomed my dog and never will. Check out the video of my cute active “senior” dog!

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a groomer. The owner was rude and unprofessional, but the way my dog was treated is what truly disturbed me. My dog is normally sweet, social, and loves people — but after this visit, she came home completely terrified. She started cowering, ducking away from everyone, and even showed her teeth — something she has never done before. When they tried getting her out of the cage, she looked absolutely panicked. Clearly, something happened behind closed doors that should never happen to any pet. I would never bring her back here and I strongly recommend others stay far away. No animal deserves to be treated this way

We recently took our boy Kalbi to Fur for a self-bathing and we had such a great experience! The owner was incredibly friendly and took the time to show us how to use all of the equipment and offered some great tips. The facility was clean, well-equipped, functional, and comfortable. Kalbi loved the self-bathe station, and it was great to have all the supplies readily available. Kalbi came out looking and smelling fantastic, and he clearly enjoyed his time there. I would highly recommend Fur to anyone looking for a great experience.
