About a year ago we reached out to Coach Krasno & Ashley for desperately needed assistance with our pup, Chuey, a Mal/GSD mix. As a first time dog owner, I was in over my head with Chuey as he was extremely hyper & reactive due to lack of socialization. Unfortunately, we got ill advice about socializing from our first trainer. Coach Krasno & Ashley gave us the tools to understand our pup better. Understanding Chuey’s needs gave me the confidence I needed to be a gentle but firm leader. I was able to count on my coaches when I needed them the most. Cody, STOP! This simple command is very effective for keeping our dog, Cody, and people, safe when Cody is off leash. Cody is very friendly and loves to play. When we are in a relatively secluded area, we let him off leash to run. However, he can become distracted when he sees something he finds exciting, ie., another friendly dog he knows, a rabbit running across the path or another person who engages with him. Janet listened to our concern and was able to quickly recommend a solution. Step by step, Janet and her assistant, Ashley, worked with Cody and us, on how to properly use this command and it worked. I reached out to Janet because I recently adopted a puppy from the shelter. She was very quick to respond and offered a lot of resources to work with before even meeting me or my new puppy.
