I can’t say enough amazing things about this office and about Dr. Connelly. From the moment you walk in, the entire place is spotless, professional, and everyone is so friendly and welcoming. You can tell they truly care about both you and your pet. Dr. Connelly is honestly one of the best vets I’ve ever met. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and always takes her time during each appointment. She never rushes, explains absolutely everything in detail so I fully understand what’s going on, and gives such helpful guidance. She also doesn’t make you feel overwhelmed and she breaks everything down in such a clear, calm way. One of the things I appreciate most is how easy she is to reach, even via text. The supervisor Jen E went above and beyond for me to make a difficult situation the best that it could be. My cat died suddenly Friday and was at another vet. Although, my cat wasn’t at VCA, she helped facilitate certain paperwork that had to get done and was so compassionate and understanding. She was very patient with me and I could hear how much she cared in her voice. Thank you Jen E for not only being great at your job, but for being an amazing human being. I cannot thank you enough. I will use VCA Freehold for all my future pets.

Words can’t express how amazing Dr. Stinson and her team are at VCA. Our dog Fluffy came in a month ago and she warned us that she may have oral cancer, which prepared us for the visit we had this weekend. Fluffy was struggling to breathe and when it was found her heart and major organs were surrounded by fluid, Dr. Stinson was very upfront with options, which included putting her down. Fluffy was almost 15 years old and though this wasn’t what we expected to happen, the fact that she cared more about her comfort over making money stood out. The process was so beyond kind and humane, it far outweighed other vets I have been to in the past. Making money is not how this office operates. Receptionists tend to be very kind and informative over the phone but unfortunately the doctors/management just want to suck your wallet DRY... Hopefully if you VALUE your pets you will go to another animal hospital first before contacting here... Since time is of the essence and you actually want to get an appointment booked in...! Not multiple that rinse you of your money...

We had to say goodbye to our 17.5-year-old dog, which was one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff was incredibly compassionate, patient, and kind. They took the time to explain everything clearly and gently, answered all of our questions, and never made us feel rushed. During such a painful and emotional moment, they treated our dog—and our family—with dignity and respect. Their warmth and empathy truly made an unbearable situation a little less painful. We are deeply grateful for the care, understanding, and support they showed us, and we couldn’t have asked for a more compassionate team during such a heartbreaking time. Thank you!
