Francis of Assisi Society for Animals

Our family recently adopted 2 older kittens from Francis of Assisi. The Adoption process was very streamlined and communication was fast and excellent! We were looking to adopt a pair of kittys that were well socialized and would be happy in a home with our younger child. We felt that the volunteers at the rescue truly cared about the animals in thier care. They listened and made sure with thier foster family that the kittens we chose would do well in our home. We have kept in touch with their foster mom, who has been such a wonderful resource as we navigate their transition to our home and family! Our daughter absolutely adores them, they are both very sweet, healthy and affectionate boys that LOVE to play . They have brought so many laughs and hours of snuggles and love to our family.

Our family adopted two wonderful kittens from Francis of Assisi! They were so healthy and well-cared for, and they’ve been such a delight ever since. Each person working with this organization cares so much about these animals, and I’ve seen first hand the excellent care and love they receive until they are adopted.

We adopted our very sweet kitten through Francis of Assisi. The application was simple to fill out and submit. They do a great job showing the cats and kittens that are available on Instagram, along with showing their personalities. When we went to meet the kittens, you could tell that they were well cared for and socialized. Sam is an amazing foster mom and was very helpful in choosing the right match for our family. This group is doing excellent work in caring for and adopting cats and kittens in the area. I would highly recommend getting in touch if you're interested in adopting a pet!

I have volunteered for this rescue for years. All animals are vetted and cared for in volunteers homes. It's too bad the one negative review is from someone charged with animal cruelty. Volunteers for Francis of Assisi give their time freely and provide excellent care for the rescues until adoption.

They assisted in helping a concerned neighbor foster an abandoned cat until he could be adopted (by me). I appreciate the care that was taken during the process.
