I truly love Dr. Hentzel and his staff. Everyone is so kind to both me & my dog, and Dr. Hentzel’s knowledge is impeccable. He explains things in ways that are easy to understand as well. I will recommend this veterinary office for the rest of forever. Prices and costs are fair as well.

He has ALWAYS taken great care of the animals and explains what is going on with them, and the treatments as well. Dr. Hentzel, I believe he is professional and an animal lover as well, will keep going back. I have tried other vets in surrounding areas... However, everytime I have had an emergency (2), some of his help insists on making an appointment. Common sense, if I knew when they were going to have an emergency, I WOULD HAVE MADE AN APPOINTMENT !!!

I brought my chicken, Goldie, in to see Dr. Hentzel today and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. He was absolutely wonderful—extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and very thorough in his exam and explanations. It’s clear he genuinely cares about both the animals and their owners, which made me feel so confident and comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Hentzel to anyone needing an avian veterinarian—you and your feathered friends will be in the best hands!

Dr. Hentzel and his staff have cared for all 6 of our rescues over the past 15+ years and we trust him completely. We have clinics closer to us but we drive the 30 minutes just because of how wonderful, caring and concerned he and his staff are. They are consistently top notch!
