I brought my cat Pharaoh to Fort Hunt Animal Hospital knowing he had gingivitis and would likely need teeth extracted. His body doesn’t react to dental issues the same way other cats do, so the pain was much worse for him. What truly impressed me was that he was originally scheduled just for X-rays, but they were able to take care of everything in one appointment. That meant so much, because Pharaoh is an anxious baby, and avoiding multiple visits was a huge relief for the both of us!! The staff showed so much compassion, patience, and skill. They handled him gently, explained everything clearly, and made me feel like he was genuinely cared for. I’m beyond grateful for how smooth and supportive the entire experience was. Staff at Fort Hunt Animal Hospital are super friendly, professional, and caring to all dogs and cats. They always take time to understand what is happening with your pet and follow up with you within a day after your visit to make sure all is okay. Have been going to this practice for 10 years and have never had a bad experience. Highly recommend this veterinary practice!!!

The entire team at FHAH were fantastic from the moment we set foot inside. They were so fast to tend to my pup’s needs and very compassionate! Dr. Perez did the surgery and nurse Carly assisted. They were so gentle & professional. Hands down the BEST!!! Chiquita is now back to being a happy pup. Thank you all!

Very caring staff. My dog Charlie needed urgent care and Fort Hunt Animal Hospital did an amazing job caring for Charlie. They also provided me with updates as he was progressing. Definitely recommend it.
