Fort Collins Veterinary Emergency Hospital

I brought my pup, Winston, in last Sunday, after he nearly sliced off his paw pad… poor guy. All of the staff we interacted with at the Veterinary Emergency and Rehab Hospital in Fort Collins were exceptionally patient, kind and helpful. Winston needed urgent attention and triage. The team here, calmly and graciously took him back to be bandaged within moments of our arrival. He is typically a bit anxious already with new people and environments. I have never seen Winston be so immediately comfortable, in any other facility in Northern Colorado. The space was especially well maintained, clean and still warm/inviting. I am so thankful for the level of care that Dr. Michael Deogracias and the full team here provided to us. Cannot recommend this emergency vet with higher accolade and gratitud

I had an emergency with my dog - she snagged and broke a nail and was in pain on a Saturday evening. I called them and was able to speak with someone quickly. Upon arrival to the facility, everyone was friendly, helpful, and they got my dog in right away. All personnel, including the vet and the vet team, were very helpful to get us in a comfortable location, review options with us, and get my dog taken care of quickly. The discharge instructions were very easy to understand. I felt very well taken care of. They were very kind and gentle with my dog, who was tender and scared. By the end of the visit, she was fully relaxed (which is very abnormal for her at the vet). Thanks so much for taking good care of us!

My cat was having urinary issues late last weekend when my regular vet clinic was closed, so my partner and I brought him here. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, reassuring, and professional. Dr. Roth and the techs took great care of him and gave us good information and really helpful resources to look at when at home. They also checked in via text the next couple of days to see that he was doing better. The clinic was comfortable and calm, with snacks and drinks provided while we waited. Our sweet Goose is doing a lot better and we are so grateful and relieved!! Thank you so much FCVEH!

Dr Mulligan was an empathetic, very communicative, knowledgeable, available vet for us. My dog was bit at daycare and the entire team at Ft Collins Emergency Hospital took excellent care of my pup and made sure we knew exactly what care was needed and why. Check on was easy. Vet Techs were awesome and super caring, especially Rachel. I can't say enough good things about the entire team and their level of care during this stressful time. Pup is doing better, slowly recovering, and the team has been available to help us throughout this long path.

On 9/15/25 I brought my sweet dog Ellie to the ER and within 2 hours Dr. Fitzpatrick had done bloodwork, x-rays and the consultation. She determined that Ellie needed an ultrasound and surgery and they were able to get that all scheduled the following day!!!! Dr. Fitzpatrick is amazing! The next day we were seen by Dr. Pilley who watched over and cared for my sweet girl like she was her very own. Dr. Pilley took the time to sit with me while Dr. Jones went over the ultrasound results. That same day they performed surgery and Ellie was kept overnight. With Dr. Pilley there, I knew she was in good hands. Dr. Deogracias followed Ellie's care the following day and took such good care of her. He kept in contact with me, letting me know how she was doing and what pain meds she was on. He also
