I am so grateful to First Ave. Pet Shop! The owner is incredibly helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. He has an eye for detail and is always interested in finding the perfect toy, food, or treat for us! I am lucky to have been able to shoo here during my time with each of my puppies. I also really love the selection of items and am always pleasantly surprised to see new additions when I pop in. I cannot recommend it enough!!!

Small space that has it all! Our go-to for everything for our cats, the best selection of wet and dry food plus treats and toys. We don't have a dog but looks like they have just as much if not more for pups too.

What a wonderful new pet shop in the neighborhood! The dogs found great new jackets and treats. And we got some yummy grass for our cat to graze on. The pet store has a wonderful selection of toys, treats, pet supplies. The owner is very friendly and we'll definitely make this our local pet shop!

Hello I saw this store on a rainy day walked in to an honest worker behind the counter who was super welcoming and very kind showed me different dog treats and the difference in quality in full detail. It felt as if I was in a very upscale store then other pet shops just stop by and see for yourself. To the owner thank you very much for everything and having many options

The best pet shop in NYC. Massive inventory without the massive retail pet store markup. The staff are all friendly and helpful. They just opened second location in the lower 60’s also on 1st.
