Feral Fixers

I have called Feral Fixers twice this year, both times to be blown off. I will NEVER be recommending this organization to anyone, for rescue, adoption or for donating their time or money. STOP COMMITTING TO TAKING IN ANIMALS IF YOU ARE ONLY GOING TO BLOW PEOPLE OFF!!!! The first time I called (earlier this summer) I was told someone would call me in a week to arrange trapping. No one did, so I called back only to be YELLED AT for trying to capture a kitten myself. I was told someone would get back to me. So I waited, and didn't reach out to any other organizations because Feral fixers said they were coming out. No one ever called me or helped me after that. Love my kittens I got from them they are the sweetest boys and everyone is so kind and helpful with every step of the process of adopting. They truly do care about their animals ❤ 3 years later update- I just wanted to put in some more information. I am so amazed by how much they truly care about every individual animal that goes through there. I still get news letters, holiday cards from them and contact with the wonderful lady that fostered our cats befor we adopted them . I would adopt from here every time!!!

they are not an adoption service, they will not even help rehoming. don't get me started on follow through on anything. this is not the service you want to help you - they don't. everyone that suggests them, i tell them how horrible my experience has been.

I just was hung up on NOT ONCE but TWICE by Tammy. I was inquiring about getting one male cat neutered and because I live in Des Plaines she said "no" because I live in Cook County and they only serve DuPage county. I did a little research online (public information) and they are being funded by the Dungan Family Foundation which is located in Arlington Heights which is in Cook County. Tammy was clearly not happy with this information I brought to her attention and wanted to know how I found this out. It's a little unsettling to know that Feral Fixers in Lombard which I commend for everything they do for animals, are happy to take donations from Cook County residents and or foundations outside of DuPage County to support their cause, but are unwilling to neuter OR spay any animals outsid
