We can’t say enough good things about FDF Canine Services. Our GSD puppy Zyra did her training here, and now it’s the only place we trust for boarding when we travel. From day one, Joe and his staff are incredible! Joe is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in the dogs he works with. The training made a huge difference for Zyra, not just in obedience, but in her confidence and behavior overall. You can tell they truly understand dogs and care about doing things the right way. FDF Canine Services was absolutely incredible to work with! My golden retriever had some challenging behaviors—jumping, no recall, and pulling on leash—and within just 4 weeks he was a completely different dog. He now walks politely by my side, comes when called, and has much better manners when I have guests over. The team’s communication was outstanding; I received weekly updates throughout his month-long stay, which was so reassuring. They truly cared for him like he was their own—he was socialized, went on fun field trips, and clearly got plenty of love and attention. As a veterinarian, I’ve met many trainers over the years, but none compare to the professionalism, skill, and compassion of the staff at FDF. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

The dog training that Joe and Allie from FDF provided for our dog and family was absolutely spectacular. How shelter rescue dog spent 4 weeks at training camp and came back an absolute gem. I adopted my dog after h being returned twice to the shelter. He made me very nervous. He lunged at a child once. I didn’t want to fail him like everyone else so I decided to try Joe and FDF. WOW. I have a new dog. He is the best dog ever now. Loves children and other dogs now. So easy to be with. He follows commands and listens so well. I never thought he could be this dog. I used FDF canines services for my Rottweiler Rocco with bad reactivity to people and dogs and Joe and his team were absolutely AMAZING with him! He took the time to get to know him before taking him in for boarding! He was great with communication and updates despite the flooding in his home and business I knew he was being cared for! Rocco has come a long way , he still needs work because reactivity isn’t fixed over a few weeks it takes lots of time and work, and patience and consistency ! But Joe provided all of the training and tools and established a great foundation for us! I am so thankful to Joe and his FDF team!
