I don’t typically leave negative reviews, I’ve used this place for nearly 5 years, be skeptical on the repetitive shots they will charge you for nearly every three months, especially when you’ve asked to have there yearly shots at one visit aside from the proheart vaccine. I was wondering why I was being charged 300-400 dollars for two very healthy dogs every visit. I went to a new vet who looked over my two dogs medical records and they said they’ve never seen two dogs have so many shots, especially vaccines that were unneeded for two outside dogs, come to find out they were getting the same shots every time they’d be brought in. I highly suggest finding another local vet. You could save several thousands in the long run while still having a healthy pet. Highly disappointed on the upcharg

We love Farmstead Vet. They are always so nice and pleasant. Torri is the best. She will get you fixed right up with any need you got for your fur babies. Jeremiah is hilarious and he's a very good vet

This vet is truly just awful. I’d come in twice with two separate cats, only to be turned away. The first was elderly and was having an obvious health issue. They turned me away at the desk saying “well if it’s serious, we can’t watch her overnight” and turned me away at the desk. The second was a young kitten who hadn’t used the bathroom in a week. I rushed her in, and the receptionist goes back to the vet to ask for me, only to come back saying “have you tried pumpkin?” And turned me away again. The receptionist got snarky with me both times and treated me as if I were stupid. I wouldn’t even bring a dying animal here. They’ve proven that their practice is nothing more than just a way to make money.

The empathy and compassion that our family was shown by the staff at Farmstead veterinary medical center, when we were having to say goodbye to our biggest good boy, Levi; was by far the most comforting experience I have ever had in such a devastating event in our little family’s life. The staff treated our old guy so tenderly and they were so kind and supportive for us as well. The vet literally laid in the floor of the exam room next to our dog as he was taking care of him, there was no rushed feeling even though there were other pet patients to see.
