Animal Urgent Care in Escondido absolutely exceeded our expectations. We have many dogs and have fostered for multiple rescues. This was NOT our first visit to an emergency care facility. Front office team members were welcoming and helpful. They explained the very short wait since a critical patient had just arrived, and got us right in. They were concerned about our dog and wanted to make sure she would be comfortable, offering to get us right into an exam room. Let's talk about OUR DOG. "Miss Congeniality," otherwise named Charlotte. Very anxious, as in will take a finger off if you try to pick her up when injured. The worst patient ever. The absolute best place to bring your beloved family member. We brought our 4-year-old cat, Obi, in for a bladder obstruction and arrived completely terrified and unsure of what to expect. Dr. Webber and his entire team were patient, honest, compassionate, and incredibly communicative throughout the entire process. With our wedding just days away, it was probably obvious how stressed we were, not only about Obi’s health, but about the unexpected cost of emergency care. The nurse on duty walked us through every single option, provided information for organizations that might be able to help, and gave us all the time we needed to make the best decision. Not once did we feel judged or shamed for not being financially prepared for an emergency. That kindness meant more than we can say. Obi

Super good experience. Tony checked us in and treated Bodie and I with the best service could of hoped for. Giving updates to cost and timing of treatments. Vet Scott was thorough and efficient in treatment options. Bodie is doing better without having to go through any traumatic procedures and am very happy with the entire staff at Escondido Veternary Emergency.

My little senior pug (Olive) was shaking & terrified when we went in, but as soon as Dr Weber came in she was completely calm & relaxed. What a great veterinarian! He was very thorough & gentle in his exam of Olive. The ER can be a scary, but Dr Weber & his staff were pretty amazing.

I’ve been to many veterinary hospitals all over California, and I can easily say Escondido Veterinary Emergency has the best staff I’ve ever interacted with. They’re kind, empathetic, and honest. They were very communicative, gave me frequent updates, and allowed me to visit my dog a couple times so long as I called ahead. Unfortunately, I had to say goodbye to my boy after 3 days in their loving and capable care, but I’m grateful his last days were with them. Thank you to every staff member we interacted with. You made the process as painless as possible for both me and my dog.
