Elizabeth Ingalls Dog Behavior and Training

Working with Elizabeth has seriously changed our lives! Our reactive Pyr mix rescue makes going for walks and having people over a pretty frustrating experience and Elizabeth has given us the tools to make both those things MUCH more enjoyable (and safe) for everyone. She is incredibly thoughtful in her recommendations making sure they fit seamlessly into our lives. So much of our previous dog training felt high pressure and like serious work - like if I couldn’t find 2 hours a day and capture behaviors at precisely the right time I’d completely fail. Instead, Elizabeth’s methods work training into the everyday moments so we can make real progress without getting discouraged. Our life with our pup is now full of much more joy and freedom in no small part due to Elizabeth!

I couldn’t be more impressed with Elizabeth’s work! She immediately identified the primary factor causing behavioral issues with my pup and gave clear, simple directions. She also took the time to send resources outside of session time and made herself available between sessions, as needed. She never made me feel like I was doing something “wrong” as a dog owner which was a huge relief following a poor experience with a different trainer. Elizabeth was great, understanding the needs of our two dogs and our family. She patiently helped us providing strategies to handle our dogs with anxiety. Her calm approached supported our family to help us understand the best approaches for each dog. She also spoke with our vet when we were adjusting needed meds for our both. We have a Border Collie who gets scared, then aggressive. Elizabeth is helping us understand what our dog is thinking/feeling and how we should be react. It's made a big difference in how we think about our dog. Since we review so much during the appt., Elizabeth gives us a nice summary and always provides lots of resources for further reading.
