⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We adopted our sweet Ladybug from HEART RI in July of 2024, and she has truly become a part of our family! From the very first interaction, the team at HEART was so kind, responsive, and clearly passionate about finding the right homes for their dogs. The adoption process was smooth, and it was obvious how much care and love they put into every animal. Ladybug is such a loving, happy girl, and we’re so grateful to HEART RI for bringing her into our lives. You can tell they really get to know each dog and work hard to make perfect matches. We can’t thank them enough for everything they do for these animals and the families lucky enough to adopt them. 💕🐾

This organization is absolutely amazing! We rescued the sweetest pup, the entire process was seamless with constant communication throughout the application and while we waited for the vet to release him to us. We felt supported at every step of the journey. Thank you to all your staff for saving these beautiful animals.

This animal shelter was fantastic. They were as eager as I was getting our adopted puppy into our homel. They were thorough though and made sure everyone in the household, including our two year old golden doodle met the pup first. They even provided us with some food to transition our pup from his current dog food to the brand we use at home. Our puppy, Bruin, is a blessing to our home and the perfect fit. I can't imagine not having him and I'm so grateful EGAPL took great care of him until he became part of our family 💙🐾

I adopted a lovely little Jack Russell/Corgi mix from EGAPL Heart of RI Animal Rescue League. They took their time vetting me and my family to make sure my Winnie (formerly Diane) was going into a loving home. I appreciated the fact that they were not just immediately giving these animals to anyone who came in with a check! I also thought it was great that they shared an excellent video about training and went over questions the day of the adoption as well. My sweet pup Winnie is about to turn 4 months old tomorrow. She is full of energy and kisses. I am so grateful they watched out for her, her mother and brothers until people could adopt them. ❤️

Our sweet pup was one of rescues longest residents when we met her, having lived at the shelter for more than a year, and a shelter in SC before that. Everyone told us she was skittish, shy, and would need some time to warm up. But the second we brought her home, she just decompressed into the deepest of snores. She was so quick to give us her full trust and go belly up—now part of her morning routine. Now she enjoys cuddles, car rides, patrolling the local park, and making new friends everywhere she goes. Thank you, Tammy, Nicole, and everyone at the shelter for never giving up on her. She is the sweetest, silliest, and most loving dog we’ve ever met, and she has undoubtedly completed our family.
