I have been taking my dogs here for over a decade. My oldest has been sick with blood cancer for the last 5 months. They did the surgery and follow up telling me he had 2 months to live. Well it’s now time. I called them on Monday morning and they told me they were completely booked for the week and to call another vet. How could you not have time to put him down for me. Chestertown animal hospital said they can make an appointment any day and time I need, which they did. I will never return to Eastern Shore Animal hospital with any of my pets.

Worst experience at a vet ever! If I could give no stars, I would! My dog had burned her paw pads on the 4th of July, so I called to schedule an appt. They were able to take us on the following Monday. When I got there, they made me weigh her (which I’ve never been asked to do at a vets office). We then went back to a room and the doctor came in (very weird interaction and it felt super rushed). They took her to the back to look at her feet. When she came back, they said they did a SNAP test on her and gave her a lymes shot (without my consent). This worried me because she normally has reactions to vaccines. I paid and we left hoping to never go back again. They called 20 min later and said she needed to come back in 3 weeks for a second dose. I take her back and we sit in the waiting roo

Do not take your dog here! I boarded my dog on from Friday-Monday and when I picked him up I was told he had sat in pee and the tech wiped him down. When she handed him to me he smelled like he had been sitting in pee the entire weekend. His behavior since coming home has been very different than his normal self. He has been skittish and scared since coming home. Today (Tuesday) I called to ask if they had left my dog in the cage all weekend or if he was walked, I was told the doctor would call me back. I later went to get his toy from the bag I took with him to the vet over the weekend and found that all the food I had sent with him was never opened. THEY NEVER FED MY DOG! I called back in tears about the mistreatment and the tech admitted that they never walked him due to him being too d

I came in to bring my partner’s dog in since he couldn’t make the appointment. The ladies at the desk were super nice and the vet assistants were polite but shy and unsure of how to do things. When I saw the vet dr. Daniel Peck was rude and seemed inconvenienced by the appointment almost (I felt rushed to answer and just listen). He had 2 vet assistants (probably new), he asked them to put her on the table i offered how they should pick her up or i could do it. instead he replied to me oh we know what we are doing and only one lady picked the dog up and when she got her on the table he simply said you have another person here let them help after it was too late for her to help. He asked about the medication so I told him what my partner told me to tell them and he said “what does that have

Had my friend's dog over the weekend. The dog came home smelling of pee. The doctor and staff were incredibly rude when she called with concerns. They wouldn't give any details on whether they fed or walked her dog the 2 days he was there.
