Eastern PA Animal Alliance -Wilkes Barre Location

The Scranton location revaccinated my cat after I provided documentation showing he was already vaccinated. I understand the mission is good here and also that this is supposedly not harmful, but this was absolutely ridiculous. They said they had a “sticker mix-up.” Ok. Definite flaws in their process, hopefully they get cleaned up.

We've brought both our adopted cats and ferals here, and there are certainly no complaints. These people know their cats, and they're always kind and willing to share their knowledge and ideas despite being constantly busy. They put the cats' needs first, and that's what's most important.

My experience here was amazing. I dropped my girl off and within a few hours she was ready to come home. Fixed, flea treated, etc. All for, if I remember correctly, under 70 dollars. This is what made it possible for my family to adopt our cat. She is a beloved member of the family now, all because there was a lower cost option. She was from a litter belonging to a feral mother. She's in our laps and out of the cold because of this affordable option.

They stole my beloved little Yorkipoo named Luna! I took her there to get spayed. I told them I was given her from a woman who was given her by another woman who she believed was her owner. I had her for over 6 months. They decided to scan her for a microchip without my knowledge or permission and claimed they found one. They called me and told me they found a microchip and they were returning her to the person listed on the microchip. They refused to give any information about the person they claimed they were giving her to, they did not give me any proof that there really was a chip and they did not even let me say goodbye! The police were completely useless! I researched this situation and found that everything they did was completely illegal! A microchip alone is not proof of ownership

I have been taking my cats to the Wilkes-Barre clinic for many years now and I have an upcoming appointment at the Scranton location next month as well. I never had a problem with this clinic. It is very affordable and the staff there are always so friendly and so caring with my cats. Yes, it is hard to get an appointment but you have to realize they are a small business and have so many appointments within one day. I highly suggest checking to see if an appointment opens up during the late hours in the middle of the night. I find that a lot of the times, appointments open up then. My cats were always finished and ready for pick-up at a decent time. All of my cats recovered well from their surgery. I always had a great experience and I am looking forward to bringing my cat next month!
