My horse had a laminitic episode that left her almost immobile. I called the emergency number (during the day) and Dr Christiansen came within a hour. He immediately went to work getting her stabilized and was thoughtful and very efficient. He was able to give me some assurance and was willing to follow up the next day. I highly recommend him and will definitely use him again.

East Valley Equine has been my go-to for equine veterinary services since I obtained my first horse Wyatt in 2019. Both Dr. Christensen and Dr. Cooper have helped care for Wyatt over the last 6 years from spring and fall wellness and prevention, routine floating, in hospital oral surgery, emergency colic medical management to end of life services. Words cannot express how grateful I am for the recent emergency care Wyatt received and support I received from Dr. Christensen for an acute colic episode last month. My other horse Duke came from a local rescue last year with a multitude of health concerns. Dr. Christiansen has taken care of our various trail-riding and hobby horses for 17 years. There were many sad days and scary days and Dr. Christiansen has guided us gently through the complicated decision making, from avoiding a rattlesnake-induced trach to gently putting an old guy down. He is forthright, yet optimistic, and "meets us where we are at". I cannot express how thankful we are for his candor and professionalism.
