Downtown Dogs

Best groomer! We take our shitzhu there every month. They always do what I ask and are super friendly. Our dog enjoys his time there with them. :)

Jessica and the other groomers work so hard at Downtown Dogs. Our two pups are well taken care of, get fantastic grooming and walk out of her grooming salon with a little more sass in their step knowing they look adorable with their new haircut and a new bandana. Jessica tries to accommodate to any schedule issues that may arise in my day. We will never take our pups anywhere but to Downtown Dogs!

When I got my dog 3 years ago I took her to the groomer I had taken my previous dog to. Th groomer was in with my vet in Topeka. My baby was there for 8 hours each time but the last time her face was scalped and her skin bled. I searched desperately for a groomer closer to home. Jessica Kramer-Rager groomer/owner was the only one to return my call. I scheduled an appointment, traveled to her shop and was warmly greeted, she listened attentively to how I wanted her groomed. I was totally amazed at this young entrepreneur when she told me she would have her done in an hour. I was skeptical and waited in my car. In an hour my baby was perfectly groomed wagging her tail and happy. I am overjoyed to have received the return call as I now have 2 and they are groomed perfectly monthly and happy.

I was out of town visiting family recently, and had my dog with me. So lucky to find such a great pet friendly hotel- but then of course while we were at my families house- she found a way to get her self absolutely caked in mud😭 I was desperate to get her bathed ASAP before going back to the hotel that night, and this place was SO kind and SO accommodating and squeezed me right in!! I can’t thank them enough for what they did! My dog looked and smelled great and she really seemed to love the groomer!- which I worried about because I know she’s a little nervous with strangers. Thank you so much !!!

My aunt has been taking her dog Bella here for years, I can't even express in words how kind, caring and patient these groomers are. I had the pleasure of bringing my dog in for a bath while I was in town for a visit and got to experience firsthand how wonderful these people are. Highly recommend!!
