When we lost Luca, we weren’t sure what we would do. He was not only my service dog, but my partner and heart. I honestly didn’t know how I could move forward without him. At the time, our sweet Yara didn’t qualify as a service dog due to her past trauma, prior to us adopting her, and it felt like such an uncertain road ahead. Then life surprised us — Yara had a litter of seven beautiful, healthy standard poodle pups. We decided to keep two of the boys, and they have just completed their service dog training camp. They’re well on their way to following in Luca’s pawprints, and watching their progress has filled our hearts with so much hope. Yara herself has blossomed in ways I never imagined. We took our puppy here for puppy camp, and let me tell you it is worth it! The week of camp, personalized 1:1 sessions, and group classes all included! We met with some wonderful trainers including Evie and Terrence during our 1:1 sessions, who are great trainers, very knowledgeable, listened to our wants/needs and tailored each session towards our goals. They were not just training the pup but giving us humans some training and tips as well. Our puppy worked the most with trainer Alli (I hope I spelled your name right!), for her camp week and also for our group lessons. She is amazing!! We took our girl to DTE for her puppy training and will also be using them to train her for service animal for our son. They are very knowledgeable and have a big love for what they do! We saw immediate success just after her first day! Highly recommend them!
