Dog Planet Grooming & Daycare Astoria/NY

I bring my baby here for daycare and its fantastic. The staff is so sweet and you can tell they genuinely love all the pups. I get pictures and videos throughout the day which warms my heart. I've watched them playing with my puppy (from afar lol like a creeper) before I pick him up and its the cutest thing ever. I mean I saw the love and care they put into it. I absolutely love this place. Great communication, affordable, and just plain awesome. Thank you!!! Can't wait to try the grooming services

I tried so many places in Astoria! Every time I was disappointed… until I found Claudia she gave my bernedoodle such a beautiful hair cut ! I highly recommend Dog Planet I will be back for more !

I just literally noticed my babies uneven haircut. I am so upset. On Friday January 16 2026, on my birthday to top it off, took my boys to this place and I spoke to the owner Claudia and I specifically told her that I did not want their haircuts to be close to their skin. She gave me a chart to look at and I chose level number five. She told me it would take four hours when I came back, they told me that I had to come back at 7 o’clock because supposedly there was another dog in front of my two boys. I don’t understand how they groom one of mine and skipped my second one so they can take care of someone else else’s dog that’s very unprofessional. I still gave them a tip because that’s how I am, but Gracie is the Groomer and she Really ruined my Shih Tzu’s cuts Tonight I was lying next to

Excellent groomer/grooming! They really are the best groomers in Astoria. My groomer there is kind and genuinely cares about the dogs and their coats condition. I’m a very specific person when it comes to my dogs hair styles and my dogs are not easygoing when grooming. BUT she takes her time with them and makes sure to follow every instruction I give them. When I was unsatisfied somethings they asked me to come back and they fixed the problem what needed to be fixed! Thank you to my groomer and the owner for being so kind to my kids and patient with me. (Pictures are of my kids thanksgiving photoshoot after their groom)

I don't bring my dog here nearly enough because I've moved further away, but compared to the other dog groomers in Woodside or LIC, it's worth the trek to Astoria to get him groomed here. Prices aren't the best but that's everywhere else too right now. At least you'll get a great service here!
