I got a new dog this week and needed to get him updated on vaccines and take care of a few medical issues. I found Diablo Valley Animal Hospital on a whim and I'm so glad I did. Dr. Olson and her staff were so friendly, personable, and excited to have us. Dr. Olson went above and beyond to offer reasonable medical care without trying to push anything unnecessary. Very thankful I found this practice and I will be eagerly telling friends and family members to seek out vet care here.

I highly recommend Diablo Valley Animal Hospital. Dr. Yoon and Dr. Olsen are truly exceptional—kind, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. They treated my dog with such gentleness and genuine care, and it’s clear they truly love what they do and are not just in it for the money. The front desk staff, Kristin and Ashleigh, are equally wonderful—so helpful, friendly, and attentive. When my dog needed a deep dental cleaning under anesthesia, I was nervous, just because I think of the worse and didn’t want anything bad happening to him, but the team kept me informed every step of the way through text updates and even sent photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. Thank you to the entire staff—you are truly amazing and have built such a fantastic team.

Our senior French Bulldog has been struggling with ear infections, allergies, and in need of a dental cleaning. Dr. Olson took care of everything, but then, out of nowhere, our little guy stopped eating. We told Dr. Olson that he frequently vomited his food and water, so she ran additional tests—and that’s when she discovered a tumor in his spleen. Thankfully, it wasn’t cancerous, but it needed to be removed immediately. Unlike other vets where we’d have to wait months for an appointment, Dr. Olson took action right away. She created a plan that worked for Porkchop, performed the surgery, and followed up to ensure he was comfortable and pain-free. After being let down by numerous other vets, we were desperate, and Dr. Olson immediately put us at ease. She took the time to listen, ask the right questions, and truly understand Bennington’s situation. Her intelligence, compassion, and attentiveness were evident every step of the way. Dr. Olsen is amazing! She took care of my boston terrier his whole life and he had many, many health problems to manage. She is compassionate and knowledgeable. You will feel at ease entrusting her with your pets because you found the best vet around!
