Dexter's Deli - Carlsbad

My husband and I just went into this store for the first time to shop for our new puppy and the experience was lovely! The staff were very informative and helpful at picking out the “must haves” for puppies. They provided options without pushing things on us and all the staff were very kind. Their store is fully stocked with any item you could need for your dog. At checkout the offered us 3 free food items for our new puppy! They seem to have a great rewards system too that we signed up for. Will absolutely be shopping here again for our doggos!

Came here to buy my pups first birthday cake and he absolutely loved it ! they even customized the cake with his name & cute little paws which i appreciated so much. friendly customer service & Roscoe will be getting his birthday cake from Dexters Deli from here on out :)

This local pet shop truly went above and beyond for my dog's birthday! They showered her with birthday wishes and treats, making her feel right at home. The staff even helped me find the perfect pup cake and chicken treats. We'll definitely be back!

I can’t say enough about the product selection and staff and Dexter’s Deli. I’ve been to every location and they carry the top of the line supplements, food and treats. Not to mention unique and fun toys. The staff has been so helpful finding the right products to keep my kitties healthy and happy. The prices are competitive for the quality of products they offer. Cheap products are made cheaply and you get what you pay for at Dexters, quality products.

What a fantastic experience! Ray was incredibly helpful answering all my first time dog mom questions, knowledgeably discussing food options and ingredients, and recommending resources for further research. Signed up for their rewards program and got lots of free stuff! With such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, I look forward to returning regularly for all my new dog’s needs!
