Dessie’s Delightful Dogs

Dessie has been grooming our two dogs for a little over two years. Our one pup is very easy, Sebastian. She does a great job trimming him and making him feel special. Our older dog Terra is a little more sensitive and requires patience which she provides in abundance! We have recommended Dessie to several friends..

I’m only sorry we didn’t find Dessie 10 years ago! She is the number one person you want entrusted with your dog’s care. Dessie is gentle, caring, easy-going, and so skilled in her knowledge, handling, and communication with dogs. Our senior German Shepherd mix has been groomed regularly by Dessie for over 18 months, and each time, Lucy not only looks and feels exceptional, she is relaxed —and even content. This behavior is opposite the high anxiety exhibited when she finished with (another groomer) we had used for years. Dessie, thank you for your kind and experienced ways! It’s always a joy to see you, and pick up Lucy once she’s been bathed and nurtured!

I've been getting my dogs groomed here for years now and it's been a wonderful experience every time. My pups can get a little scared or anxious at other groomers but with the 1 on 1 sessions/single customer at a time policy, it really helps them relax. I was apprehensive at first with the street view but in person the property is quite adorable with a nice grooming salon/studio in the back. Dessie is ironically delightful to work with and her background in training made me feel even better about leaving my pups in her care. I recommend her as an excellent choice for anyone looking for a dog groomer or walker!

After seeing Dessie being recommended on a Novato Facebook group I booked a grooming and nail trim for my very furry Swiss shepherd. My dog is a bit scared of the vet and being groomed but Dessie not only did a beautiful job with the grooming, but my dog came out happy and calm (of course excited to be picked up but no signs of distress). Her coat is fluffy and silky again and her nail trim looks great. Dessie is great with scheduling and communication and very fairly priced! Will definitely be going back

Dessie was able to get our german shepherd in the day after Thanksgiving when he had stayed in a kennel for a couple of days. She was quick to respond to us and had great communication. Our dog smelled and looked great after getting his tidy up, and even came home with an adorable bow tie :) we'll happily go back again in the future!
