Novato Veterinary Hospital

We live in SF and came here for FAVN testing so Clark can go to Maui. They took the time to read his charts and made some excellent suggestions. We were so happy with the overall service we are considering switching to use them exclusively after our Modern Animal membership expires.

This place is awesome! The staff obviously love the animals. Our vet retired and then our next one lost his license..(sigh) We tried a couple of vets in Novato with mixed success. So our Mini- Aussie breaks a molar and our current vet told us it would be 950.00 to pull the tooth. Now I am a capitalist but that seemed extreme since my human dentist offered to pull it for 200.00 (joke) Enter Animal Kind hospital. I took my guy for a second opinion and received an estimate a full 500.00 cheaper! The surgery has been completed by AK and the results have been great. We have found our new vet and we recommend them highly. Our Aussie is scared of men in general but warmed up to this doc right away. We are really pleased.

We have been going to Dr Demaio for a few years now,he is truly the best Vet for our two adored pups.He is very thoughtful,caring but most of all very thorough each and every time we have needed him to treat our pets.Their staff is also amazing..Thank you Dr D!Snoopy & Molly

Finding a new Vet isn't easy which is why we were so thrilled to find Dr. Di Maio in Novato. We loved the whole experience from beginning to end for our first visit to them to meet Maya and talk about her overall health. Prior to this first appointment, the team had reached out to get all her past records, reviewed them, and were up to date with suggestions from Dr Di Maio, especially as it relates to Aussies and their inherent medical issues. Maya is also skittish around men but she warmed up to Dr Di Maio immediately, giving him her paw and snuggling. Very impressive and they're literally 5 minutes away! Check that off my 2025 to-do list!
