I’ve been taking my calico kitten, Athena, to Deshon Animal Hospital for the past few months, and I’m beyond impressed with the care she’s received. Dr. Whitney has been wonderful—kind, knowledgeable, and always straightforward about the best options for Athena’s health. She’s been great about keeping Athena protected from fleas and ticks, which has been a huge relief. Just a few days ago, Dr. Whitney also performed Athena’s spay surgery, and everything went smoothly with no complications. What really stands out to me is how reasonable the care costs are—after shopping around, I’ve found that Deshon offers the most affordable prices without sacrificing the quality of care. My dog came in with a broken leg after slipping in the snow, and when I called ahead, I was given a price and a timeframe for treatment by the assistant. However, when I arrived, things were not what they made it seem They barely even examined my dog. Instead of addressing her injury or offering any immediate help, they simply rubbed her and told me to come back the next day for an X-ray. Then, to make matters worse, they informed me that the price for the X-ray would be double what I had been originally quoted. When I explained to the technician what I had been told earlier, she responded with an incredibly rude attitude. It was clear from her demeanor and the atmosphere of the office that the staff cares more about money than actually helping animals. My baby deserves better than this

I've had a great experience for years at this location. I've had several cats treated for various issues, as well as keeping up with their shots and care. I love the doctors and staff and feel confident in the care of my fury loves. Their prices are tolerable too, compared to other animal hospitals I've gone to. Dr. Whitney abd Toler take time to explain health issues and give great recommendations when needed too!

I’m new to the area and found this vet. I was seeking boarding. I’m so happy to have found them. They updated most of his shots and called me to provide detailed information about everything they were going to do. My pup suffers from anxiety. Dr Rose spoke with me after his visit, and provided me with meds. Kodi hasn’t suffered from anxiety since. Everyone that I’ve dealt with here have been extremely nice and professional. I would definitely recommend this place.

We've been coming to Deshon for a couple of years now, primarily for routine check ups, vaccines, and baths for our dog, Mello. Recently, however, more serious symptoms emerged and we were at a loss how best to proceed other than calling in to explain the details and scheduling an examination. I'm so glad we did! The entire team went above and beyond. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and confident that Mello was in the best hands. The staff was kind, invested, knowledgeable, and gentle with him throughout the entire process, which is not always easy when dealing with an 80lb ball of energy.
