My Dog is extremely prone to ear infections and vet after vet could not help us get a handle on the issue, until we met Dr. Boynosky. Within a couple days of following her protocol, my dog experienced relief for the first time in a long while. She was great at educating me how to better care for my dog's ears and is a true professional when comes to figuring out exactly what is at the root of a medical issue and then finding a solution. She works with compassion and care and would highly, HIGHLY recommend her services to anyone who's pet is experiencing skin issues!
My Dogo Argentino had an itchy spot/scar for 2 years that she came with when we adopted her from Texas. Different vets had prescribed antibiotics, anti-itch meds, and topicals, yet the spot remained. Dr. Boynosky and the staff were great! I couldn't get an appointment right away but Amanda continued to call me with openings on their cancellation list and I was seen sooner. I liked the office for the smaller size and the personal staff, and for their ability to handle my dog who has behavior problems. I also liked the way they handled the need for sedation for a biopsy- they informed me that they try oral sedation first (they gave her pills right there in the appointment) and only if that wasn't enough would they need to give an injection for sedation. That saves our pocketbook and also
I do not recommend Dr. Boynosky for pet allergy care. After my cat’s initial appointment for allergy testing and start of immunotherapy, there was no follow-up call from the vet. When my cat developed bladder inflammation two weeks into treatment, I called for guidance but never received a call back—only a message relayed through a technician telling me to contact my primary vet. Despite being advised by other veterinarians to continue the therapy, my cat continued to have recurrent flare-ups. I tried to reach Dr. Boynosky, to authorize a food change to help his bladder symptoms, and a response came days later and only via a staff text. I finally decided on my own to stop the immunotherapy and my cat’s symptoms quickly resolved. Overall, Dr. Boynosky was very hands-off and showed little co
The experience was shockingly negative — sorry, but this felt more like a used car dealership than a pet care clinic. This was our second visit with our little Pekingese. The first visit already left us underwhelmed — no real analysis, no tests as promised, just a hefty bill and more questions than answers. Still, we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and returned two weeks later. This time, the vet nurse (or assistant) wasn’t even listening to our concerns and seemed unwilling to answer basic questions. Faced with such unprofessional behavior, we simply couldn’t risk our precious pet’s health with this “treatment” and had to leave. In all our years with pets, this was the first time we felt we couldn’t trust a veterinary practice
THe service and care for my english bulldog was amazing!. THe doctor was incredible. She took the time to not only explain everything clearly to me but also took the time to educate me on my dogs condition and why it was happening and how the treatments were going to take care of the problems. The aids were very good as well, they just weren't "pencil pushers". I highly recommend them and as for me I will no longer be looking for another place to take my dog.
