ABC Veterinary Hospital

I can’t say enough good things about ABC veterinary Hospital. I have been taking my dogs to ABC for 11+ years. I have an 11 year old golden doodle and a new labradoodle puppy. My dogs have always received the best care. Dr. Kaplan and Dr. Meyers are awesome. The office is open 7 days a week and I can always get an appointment. The doctors are so sweet and really care about the well-being of my dogs. Recently my 11 year-old golden doodle was hit by a car and required surgery to fix her broken leg. Dr. Kaplan came in on her day off to review my dogs file and helped me understand the treatment options. She arranged to have a surgeon come in to put a plate and 4 screws in my dog’s leg. I’m happy to say my dog is doing great and is as good as new.

I took in my cat, who was seen for FIC (Cystitis). He was having trouble urinating but seemed fine. I just wanted him treated. I never saw or spoke to the vet. He was given Metacam Oral Suspension. (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory) which is given to relieve pain and inflammation from surgery or arthritis, which my cat did not have. He was given 3 oral suspensions. Well, needless to say, this made him very, very sick. I was never told this could make him sick or to contact them immediately if he vomited. By the 2nd dosage, he was vomiting all over and was listless, would not eat, and was lethargic. I tried calling ABC and could not get him in. I took him to a hospital where the vet there told me she was surprised they had given him this medicine. She was afraid it might have caus

Nice folks. They had a cancellation & were able to see my injured cat, same day. The exam was reasonably priced & we weren't pressured to do all possible treatments or 'add-ons. The Doctor was knowledgeable & put my mind at ease regarding our cat's recovery.

Always a pleasure bringing my dogs to see Dr. Heather Caplan at ABC. I had the unfortunate experience of receiving bad news after I brought my 15 year old Pittie to ABC. After multiple test results, Dr. Caplan confirmed that Maddy had a rare skin cancer. Her genuine concern and sympathy was so appreciated and the follow up from the staff made all the difference at that time. I wouldn’t trust any other clinic with the care of my dogs.

They are incompetent!!! My bearded dragon died today because they don't treat exotics, sent me to the wrong veterinarian across town only for me to end up in another veterinarian on the other, other side of town all the while doing chest compressions. He eventually succumbed, but maybe had I gotten him to the right veterinarian he would have survived. I'm absolutely distraught and devastated. RIP Hydra
