Dallas Highway Animal Hospital

Dallas Highway Animal Hospital served us well. From the moment I made the appointment to paying our bill, we were treated with kindness and respect. Theodore received excellent care. Dr. Roberts and Noah were attentive and answered all my questions and were so informative. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and kind. Dallas Highway Animal Hospital is the cats meow!

After taking our pets to another veterinarian for years we brought one of our dogs here. I liked the fact that while some area veterinarians have been purchased by large corporations, Dallas Highway Animal Hospital is still locally owned. The staff was kind, helpful and knowledgeable. They listened to me and recommended that our dog's issue could be resolved without the major surgery that had been recommended. I was relieved because at 11 years old I was worried about putting her through that. We decided that both our dogs will be coming here going forward.

I found a stray kitten someone had left at my office. I was surprised to get an appointment on Christmas Eve morning to check for a chip and make decisions from there. I have a new kitten named Gracie! Thank u!

The knowledge and care from the doctors and techs were great. Why I gave it three stars: What struck me as odd (and annoyed me) was I was asked if I was on their care plan by every single person I met with. The individual checking me in, the tech, and finally the vet - one after another. We were trying this vet out for the first time so didn’t want to commit to anything considering never had been there before, but seemed that was their main goal: sign us up for their yearly care package and the treat. Which ultimately led me to finding another vet. Again, the care we got from their staff was in the end very good, but couldn’t shake the constant sales pitch.

My dogs have been patients at DHAH for several years now and were always pleased with the care we receive there. Everyone is very attentive and helpful: front desk, vet techs, and veterinarians. Highly recommend!
