I don’t even have the right words to describe how grateful I am for Cumberland Valley Vet Clinic. Saying goodbye to my pet was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but the staff showed such incredible kindness and compassion every step of the way. They never made me feel rushed or pressured — they gave me space, time, and understanding when I needed it most. I was deeply touched that they offered a small coffin made just for pets and later sent a series of sympathy cards that truly meant the world to me. Those thoughtful gestures showed how much they genuinely care. The cost was fair and humane, but what meant even more was how much love and respect they showed for both me and my sweet pet. I’ll never forget their kindness.

My dog was admitted today with a critical condition due to not being spayed. I was unaware that spaying was a necessary health measure until this morning when I encountered a pet emergency. Cumberland Valley has provided exceptional support in managing my expenses by presenting options I was not aware were still accessible on a personal, rather than business, level, and offered a truly unique opportunity. My dog was not turned away; instead, they treated her as if she were a member of their own family. I extend my deepest gratitude to Cumberland Valley for saving my dog, and to the doctor who went above and beyond. We were very nervous about our girl Pepher who is only 14 lbs and got attacked by a pitbull. She needed extensive care and the staff stepped in and took really good care of her. The procedure for her wound was beautifully done and well taking care. I cannot think the doctor and staff who took and is still taking care of her. I am so glad we picked this clinic. It has been truly the best clinic and the staff is so caring and supportive. Thank you so much for all you have done and continue to do for our little lady. 💕💕💕

I’d like to agree with the other review that said the tech claimed their dog was “aggressive”. I had the same thing happen to me. I had brought my dog in, she is the sweetest thing. She has never bit someone, she licks people, and she loves affection. She loves being around people. Upon coming in, the tech came to get my dog. She was very rude and was telling us “Well since last time you declined on our offer for the trazodone, we will try to get her shots, but if she acts out we will have to try again another visit”. i informed her that the last visit they only recommended that because I asked them to clip her nails, and they claimed she “didn’t seem like the type to be calm” and wanted her to come in on trazodone to “be calmer”. I told her I declined it because I decided I’d go to a spa

We hadn’t had our dog to the vet in years and he became ill a few days prior. We called, they were able to give us an appointment for a new patient the very next morning. The staff was very kind and the vet (Dr. McKenna, I believe) was super kind and explained everything very well, including our options for our elderly sick dog. They were supportive in the decisions we made and despite it not being a “good news” visit, we are very appreciative of them seeing us in a timely manner and explaining all options.
