Critter Care of Panama City

We took our new puppy here after she wasn’t eating or drinking water. They were able to see her on an early Monday morning without an appointment. The staff was amazing treating her. They found she had a parasite and gave a regiment of medicine. Within one treatment of the medicine she was feeling much better. I can’t thank the staff enough for taking care of little Sonny!

Dr Hubbard saved Elizabeth's Life in every sense of the word. Dr Hubbard is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and she works late in the evening responding to Emergency Walk-ins even when Surgery is necessary. This has never been my own personal experience having utilized many a Veterinarian for the past 35 years as most Vets are under Very Strict Company Policies, Rules and Regulations. However, Dr Hubbard has chosen a Path of Caring and Responding to the Needs and Well Being of the Pet as Dr Hubbard has chosen not to go Corporate. Dr Hubbard and her staff will give thorough and detailed descriptions of your pets health, what to expect during and after surgery as well as an up front detail print out of the possible cost which I find extremely helpful. With a rabbit who has dental disease I have tried just about every exotic vet in the area and I can’t say enough good things about Critter Care. I’m always checked in before entering the waiting room and have never left disappointed. Every staff member here is incredible and caring, and the vets go above and beyond in comparison to the others I’ve been at. Most of these places are huge money grabbers, whereas Critter Care genuinely cares about the health of your pet. For example, a service I now pay $20 with them, was easily over $450 at the place I was going prior- and I won’t even get into how much more gentle they are with my rabbit. I will never switch vets because of the compassion, quality and reasonable pricing you get here.

Went twice with pet emergencies. First time was with my macaw Sinbad who became suddenly very sick and her regular vet was closed due to bad weather. Vets for birds are hard to find because they are very hard to treat, they hide illness very well and go straight to dying. Dr Carla Hubbard agreed to see her and was wonderful.She treated my Sinbad as if she was her own pet. She went above and beyond making observations of my pet that I had not even seen. I brought in a dying bird who had looked fine the day before right before closing time and was told Dr Hubbard would see her when she got in that evening from the other office. We drive from South Florida once a year to get physicals and teeth cleaning done on our 2 babies!! The office is very clean and staff is always friendly :) This office was recommended to us by Robin Taylor (our babies Grandma & Best Yorkie Breeder in Panama City! I would definitely recommend this office for any needs your fur babies may have!! Great Prices and always a pleasant experience!!
