Coyne is great. The front staff, the doctors, the techs, the groomer, everyone! You can tell how much they love animals. It’s a warm and welcoming environment, and you can feel it from the moment you walk in. Some anecdotes: - The thing that led us to Coyne was our cat. When he needed tooth extractions, Coyne’s whole total was under $1000: anesthesia, extractions, extra anti nausea meds, pain meds, and antibiotics!. Another vet in Westfield had quoted us $1300 minimum just for the extractions and anesthesia. -When our other cat died unexpectedly, Coyne sent us a card with handwritten message from at least a dozen staff members. - Our dogs LOVE the daycare. Like, they don’t even look back at us when they’re walking back to daycare. And we love that our dogs can get some socialization in
I took my dog to Coyne for almost two years. He is a 2 year old Australian Shepherd, usually very calm and sweetly disposed. I got a call from the Pet Resort staff informing me of an incident he was involved in. The first thing the tech told me was that my dog was fine, but in trying to correct another dog that was nipping at him, he accidentally bit the worker in the room on her hand. She said it was an accident, BUT they still had to remove him from daycare for three days. I didn't have time to discuss it over the phone as I was working, but I had all day to think about it. As I said I had been going there for almost two years, my dog LOVED it there! He was always excited to leave in the morning, often jumping and yapping to leave as soon as I was out of the shower. I was on the healthca
Unfortunately, we didn’t have the best experience at Coyne. The support staff and technicians were all wonderful, but we were unhappy with our experience with the vet. He seemed like he wanted to be anywhere except with us and our puppy. He didn’t greet our dog or show any affection at all, which isn’t typical in my experience. He conducted a very short exam and didn’t seem interested in answering our questions. This is a sensitive topic, and I want to be very clear that I have absolutely no issue with people from different backgrounds and I welcome diversity. However, we had a very difficult time understanding what he was saying, and his overall demeanor was off-putting. After the exam, he turned around and began typing at the computer without explanation or any closing remarks. We ende
Love LOVE coyne vet they have always gone so above and beyond to take care of our fur babies. We’ve been coming here for years now and done boarding, day boarding, dog daycare, cat visits, grooming, you name it we’ve probably paid for it lol They’ve always had excellent communication, great doctors, and fantastic front desk staff which lets be real makes a world of difference even with the best doctor. Even after moving farther downtown, I have continued to drive up to Westfield just to keep coming here.
We have tried with Coyne for almost 3 years, but unless you are rich and can spend x amount of dollars on your animal, AVOID. I have never experienced such a money hungry place of care in my entire life. The staff has always been kind and I know they are just following policy...but this place will try to get every penny out of you. There is no personalized care (we moved, and used to have THE best vet office in Greenwood, IN). (Also- it's cheaper to hire an in-home pet sitter than to board your dog here).
