I've taken my kitty to 3 different vets in the VB area. This is definitely the best we've been to. She was comfortable exploring the room, the staff was nice and not pushy to her. They let me in the room to talk her through everything but brought her back to get her vaccines etc. She's spicy so I'm surprised they got her vaccines while she was awake without me holding her down. We put her to sleep to check out additional issues. I never had any questions along the way because they thoroughly explained everything. I never felt guilted that I have a spicy girl. I can order my prescription food through Chewy without needing additional documentation. I can also tell that they care for animals, even through to the front desk ladies. Zoey and Ollie are not easy going cats when it comes to going to the vet, and the team at Cooke does everything possible to make it a smooth transition. All the doctors there are so amazing, and they all bring something different to the table that will meet your pets needs. Zoey and Ollie love Dr. Carin. She knows that they will express themselves, but Dr. Carin is always up for the challenge. Dr. Carin has always respected Zoey and Ollie’s boundaries while providing care. Ollie was diagnosed with diabetes, and I was devastated thinking how am I going to give him insulin. Thanks to Dr. Carin’s monitoring, testing, and early diagnoses, Ollie was a candidate to start a prescription called Bexacat (Kitty Ozempic). He is doing amazing, and the best part no insulin shots!!
