I recommend Kari without reservation. I had real concerns about using a pet service because my cat, Sol, can barely suffer strangers when I bring them into our home as guests - she remains under the bed terrified until they leave - so I worried that having a stranger entering twice a day for several days would be upsetting to her. Kari came over to meet me and Sol before I hired her, and I had an immediate sense of her expertise in animal care, her deep love of animals, and her holistic approach to caring for them. I knew without a doubt that she was not just going to come in to feed and water Sol, but would actually get to know her. Kari provided exemplary care for our dog and cat while my wife was being treated for cancer. The unpredictable nature of the disease and treatment meant that we asked Kari to help us on short or no notice and she was always responsive and supportive. Dot and JoJo could not have been happier to see Kari - they always asked us to go away more often so that Kari could come visit!

Her prices are very good, her experience is beyond reproach, and she's got a wealth of experience with dogs and cats to lean on. For my family, Kari has handled everything from daily walks to feedings and medication to overnight stays and has also helped weigh in on training questions when we had them -- always in a way that was helpful, productive, and that put the best interests of our animals first. Kari has helped my fiancé and I a tremendous amount with walking our dog ever since we discovered Conscious Pet Service. She is sweet, trustworthy, and especially reliable as sometimes our schedules don’t allow us to plan for the upcoming week until Sunday evenings, and yet Kari is always there to the rescue. Conscious Pet Services is fantastic. My wife and I had never had a dog walker before hiring them, but a new job and commute necessitated hiring one. Kari, our regular walker, started by coming by to meet Max and discuss his needs. She is incredibly knowledgeable & experienced with dog care- important for our older dog because of some ongoing health issues. In addition to regular walks, Kari has been great help in taking care of Max - from helping us track his GI health with regular updates to to giving meds when needed to cleaning the occasional mess, she goes above and beyond to keep our dog happy and healthy.
