A great place to adopt a pet. Everyone is so friendly and helpful!!! I would definitely recommend adopting from here. The pets are very healthy and cared for. They make sure the animals are in great shape before they let them go home. Great place!!!

just adopted our first kitty, dumpling, yesterday at the Newington Humane Society! we came in not knowing what to expect but there were plenty of cats and kittens available to choose from. dumpling was the last kitty we met, and we absolutely fell in love with her. sarah and the other staff there were very helpful and friendly. here’s some pictures of our girl! :,)

Unfortunately, we had to use the Fox memorial clinic to put our long time pet cat down. They were compassionate kind and easy to work with. They were able to get us an appointment fairly quickly and their pricing was affordable compared to other vets in the area.

I recently visited the Wilton Humane Society to meet a female Yorkie named Elsa. I was very excited and genuinely interested in adopting her, as I take excellent care of my own dog and was hoping to give Elsa a loving home as well. Unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed. I was not given the opportunity to even pet or properly meet the dog. I also brought my own dog with me to see if they would get along, but I was not allowed to introduce them. Without giving me a fair chance to interact with Elsa, I was told that she was “not a match” and that I couldn’t adopt her. I felt that this decision was made prematurely and wit

Went in today to adopt a cat. They told me the cat was available and to come down immediately for a consultation for adoption. I drive an hour to get there only for them to then inform me as soon as I walk through the door that the cat had been adopted before I got there. They then showed me a black cat I fell in love with that they said I could see. I sat in the waiting room for thirty minutes only to then be told that cat had just been adopted to right at that moment. They tried to get me to see other cats but at that point I was heartbroken and left crying. Two beautiful boys I was so set on getting adopted out from under me despite promising me I could take them home. I won't be coming back nor will I give anymore donations to this place. This was the worst experience ever. You don't d
