We adopted Emi about six weeks ago, and are overjoyed that she’s become a part of our family! She’s happy, healthy, active, incredibly smart, and quite well-mannered for a puppy of her age. Working with COJSP’s adoption process was easy, and gave us the confidence that Emi would be a good fit for us. After seeing an ad for Emi’s litter, my wife filled out an application, and we were contacted to choose a day and time to meet Emi and her sister Puchi. During our initial visit, we went over the purchase contract and received a copy of Emi’s health records and genetic profile. We decided to move forward and arranged for Emi to be brought to us (we live about an hour from the breeder’s location) the next day. I adopted my dog from this place in 2022. You can immediately see they prioritizes the care and well-being of their animals. Interestingly, I was told they started using social media, and saw other similar breeders trying to shut them down. I think they raised the quality bar and others don't like it. Fortunately, my experience with them has been great. My dog is healthy, well adjusted, and incredibly happy. It's worth noting that they only breed occasionally, typical Japanese scarcity.
