When our cat Alice fell ill, our regular vet wouldn’t see her, but Cold Water Animal Hospital made time that very same day. Dr. Carvalho provided exceptional care—her expertise and compassion put us at ease, and Alice was treated with genuine kindness every step of the way. Thanks to her dedication, Alice is back to her happy, playful self. We were new to the area and didn't have a vet yet and my dog had some blood in his stool. I called around and no one would see him because he wasnt a "patient/client" and it would take weeks to get him seen. The staff were super friendly and we're able to get him in 1 day.

3 Dogs of ours has had the best care from Coldwater. Even taking care of us humans at times.. They are great with preventative care. But never pushy...Ty Coldwater. Much love from Lulu D.

Don't believe these ridiculous reviews! My dog is ~16.5 years old. I went to this clinic because one of my neighbors indicated that the vets weren't aggressive with services for seniors, especially at my dog's age. My dog was with Fairport Animal Hospital since 2012 when we moved from SC. I switched only due to convenience and distance, I live on the westside. I have been trying to get a simple Rx of Gabapentin for over a month now for her nerve damage from CCL replacements on both hind legs. My dog has been on this Rx for almost a decade now. They were willing to fill it in-house, of course with a mark-up of over 800%. Yet, I have to continue calling and speak to someone different each time. Her vet is Dr. Cooperman. We took our dog here for TPLO surgery on both of his knees and everything was great. We had a consultation in the beginning with Dr. Klovstad, he explained everything thoroughly and we had plenty of time to ask him questions. After each surgery, we met with a staff member and Dr. Klovstad to go over everything. We were given detailed instructions to take home, it explained which meds to give our dog and what time the next dose was due, what to expect in the coming days and weeks, and exercises to start doing. Times and dates were listed on everything so there was no confusion and this alleviated a lot of anxiety on my part!
