Been going here since moving to Nashua 6 years ago. The veterinarians, vet techs, and front reception are wonderful, and I’ve had nothing but good experiences with them all. I feel like my dog and cat are taken care of and they answer all my silly questions. They call to check up after procedures and medications/vaccines, which I really appreciate. The building is quiet (no dogs barking) and my dog is extremely anxious in general but calms down quite easily once in the exam rooms. They never push my dog too hard and take their time by sitting on the floor with him to let him get accustomed to being touched by them. Every vet is expensive now, I won’t judge based on that (insurance and thrive have helped). They became a Thrive vet a few years ago, and I was skeptical at first but Thrive has
I have had many pets in my lifetime and when you reach the point of deciding to let one go, it is a heartbreaking decision. Clark Veterinary Clinic, by far, was the most compassionate and loving experience when we recently had to let our dog go. They provided my family and I a room with a blanket that said “love is love is love”. They let us take our time and even provided chocolate as a treat for our dog to experience at the end of her life! It was beautiful and loving and when we were done there was a door to the outside where we could depart without needing to see others. I cannot thank the Clark Veterinary staff enough for the compassion and heartfelt care they demonstrated to my dog and my family.
The staff at Clark Veterinary are exceptional. We’ve recently returned to using them for our pet care after leaving the practice a few years back. They’re wonderful routine health maintenance visits. However, we’re now dealing with a new chronic illness with our dog and have needed them recently for an urgent issue with our cat. They have listened carefully to my concerns, provided thorough examinations, and are clear when as they presented our options for care. We’ve also used them for euthanasia and they could not have provided a better experience for our family.
I’ve been bringing my cat to Clark Veterinary for years and always had great experiences — until recently. Sadly, they’ve changed staff, and it’s just not the same. At my most recent urgent appointment, things went downhill fast. The tech who came in before the vet was grouchy and rude. He clearly didn’t like cats and even made a disgusted face while putting on gloves, just because my cat was 60 days overdue for her rabies shot. He acted like a total snob and didn’t even try to be kind or reassuring. When the vet came in, she asked a few quick questions, disappeared, and returned with a list of “recommended treatments” totaling around $1,200 — none of which had anything to do with my cat’s actual symptoms. It felt pushy and impersonal, which was really disappointing after so many good ye
I am writing as a client of Clark Veterinary Hospital for over ten years. During the earlier years of my time with your practice, my experiences were consistently positive, compassionate, and supportive—especially while caring for a cat with feline leukemia and subsequent health complications, which required frequent visits. Your clinic was once a place I trusted deeply with my animals. Unfortunately, over the past few years, the environment has changed dramatically. I have left multiple visits in tears, feeling dismissed and uncomfortable, but continued to give grace under the assumption that staff may have been having difficult days. My most recent visit, however, has led me to conclude that I can no longer bring my pets to your clinic. I called late in the day regarding a sick kitten
