Clark County Animal Shelter

We have one of the best shelters in the area. They have good, community outreach programs to help Clark County pets. They are receptive and help pick up pets at-large. They do all they can to care for animals in the shelter. It's a thankless, overwhelming job, but they do it for the animals.

Don’t trust there word about the animals. They say they will keep in touch with you about animals you want to adopt and then never contact you. And on top of that when you go in person they have no clue about the animal or where they went!

I ended up adopting a 10 year old little lady, who is as sweet as can be. The whole adoption process was super easy. I noticed a photo of her on a Facebook ad for the cats at the shelter who had been there for awhile and we're in danger of eauthanasia. Staff was amazing and now I have all awesome little buddy who had made herself a little nest in one of our kitchen chairs lol.
