City of Henderson Animal Protection Services

We adopted Winnie from the shelter a couple months ago. As a semi-feral cat, we were told that she could be challenging, but the shelter went out of their way to equip us with the best information for the adoption. They correctly observed that Winnie seemed to perk up when other cats are around and she is now fully integrated with our two cats and enjoying the occasional pets! I can't recommend this place enough; the employees were efficient and competent!

I hope this review reaches the Cuty of Henderson Animal Control I adopted Mitsy from Pets mart on Wednedsday the 17th, and I would like to thank everyone who helped me make that possible. Nancy who was so kind when I came to see Mitsy on Monday, and when I came back on Wednesday and was told Mitsy was at Petsmart, thank you to the lady who patiently gave me verbal directions ad wrote them out for me and the gentleman who called Petsmart to see if Mitsy was still there, and finally Donna at Petsmart who went out her way to help me adopt Mitsy. Just adopted a kitten this week. He is perfect. Slowly getting to know my dogs but I have no doubt they will all soon be best buddies. The adoption was quick and easy. I appreciated their thoroughness to assure he was going to a good home.

Giving five starts cause I found my baby here. This is for the workers to see! His name was Tango when we first adopted him only a few months ago in May. Kobi is in the best hands ever. He enjoys being a couch potato and sitting on the balcony with his mama. He loves meal time and comes as soon as he hears a can open lol. He loves to snuggle get kisses on the nose from me! He always wants to be with his mama.❤️He also loves looking out the window and nap time. And his toys of course lol! He’s the perfect cat and I’m so happy I have him in my life. He has truly become a part of our mini family. 💙💙

These people doing a great service for our city and the animals that need homes! I want to thank them for going way out of the way for me and my wife which I know they do for everyone that's looking to adopt a new pet. We adopted a healthy baby girl Chigi, who loves to fetch her new toys. Also thank you for the blanket and Christmas dress she got before leaving.
