The elevated tub is so much easier on your back than trying to bathe your dog at home and they provide towels, shampoo, conditioner, and basic grooming supplies as well as a dryer. Been coming here for several years and notice a significant improvement over the past couple months. Love the self- bath for your pets. Clean and tidy and they provide shampoo, conditioner, and towels. Suggest you bring your own towels. Staff are friendly and attentive. The store is well maintained and offers quality food and supplies. Today was like a spa experience with treats waiting at the bathing station.

I've had such a great experience at Choice Pet in West Hartford. The selection is always well-stocked, clean, and organized, but what really stands out is the customer service—especially from Jenn, the manager. She's incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about both the pets and the customers. Whether I’ve had questions about food, toys, or specific pet needs, Jenn always goes above and beyond to help. Highly recommend this place thanks to her professionalism and kindness

Every time I go here to give my dog a bath, the staff are friendly and helpful. They always make sure clean towels are provided and always say hi to my dog. Eve in particular is amazing! She’s always so helpful. I have gone in twice looking for products for 2 different problems my dog was having and Eve always recommends great products for us try. This location is very clean and easy to find any product you are looking for.

really nice place! I was able to get some good quality cat toys for my kitty and even though their dog section is bigger there were still numerous things to choose from as a cat owner. their prices are very reasonable too, some food items were actually cheaper here than other chain pet stores i have visited before. i was also able to find brands that i have not seen before and was very excited to try! unfortunately they do not have the vet prescription food that my cat eats so i can only get toys from here but it’s always a place i like to visit when i get the chance!
