Cheshire Crossing Animal Hospital

I've been taking my furry friends here since I moved to the area over a decade prior, and still go even though it is not at all convenient for me now. The staff have always been super helpful and considerate, and seem to know and remember my kitties even if they don't see them all that frequently (thank goodness!). They were also very compassionate when the time came to put one of them to rest. Prices are reasonable for the quality of care, and I've never felt pressured or guilted into certain treatment options, nor denied them either. Staff tend to go out of their way to help too, be it recommendations for pet sitters, obtaining old records, offering me bandaids when my cat decided he did Not want to go to the vet, or cleaning out the carrier when another cat litter-ally peed himself.

We have been clients of Dr. Carpenter for about 15 years. The care our rescued or adopted pets have received is extraordinary. Dr. Carpenter is an excellent diagnostician and if she feels our pet needs to be seen by a specialist, she doesn’t hesitate to make the referral. She also has a highly skilled group of veterinary technicians. One young vet tech told me he hopes to retire from Cheshire Crossing one day, making this veterinary practice his lifetime career. That says a lot about a good work environment! The friendly staff that greets us in the lobby always makes us always feel welcome. Sadly, we have said goodbye over the years to many of our pets. Dr Ballard, Dr Carpenter and staff are amazing. I have been a customer for over 16 years! I started with Cody and then Cooper. Now we have Brittany and Bailey. All of these fur babies are mini dachshunds. Recently we lost our little Cooper. They were wonderful. I could go on & on about how amazing the care at Cheshire Crossing Animal Hospital is. My family has been taking our dogs here for as long as I can remember. Their passion for animals & the extra mile they go for our fur babies is so appreciated. From the front desk (Olivia, Anita, Berkeley), to the tech’s, to Dr. Ballard & Dr. Carpenter themselves. I truly couldn’t imagine taking my pets anywhere else! Their standards to provide quality and the most updated and evidence based care is so important and they go above & beyond. My English bulldog, Gunner (my soul dog 💔) crossed the rain bow bridge this past March. Bulldogs come with a lot of health issues that can be complicated and require ongoing treatment. We have been taking our dogs to Cheshire Crossing for about 5 years now and have been extremely happy with them. Our current dog Jam was nervous about the vet and the staff worked with him to get him more comfortable. Now he sprints inside for lean treats every visit. Very caring staff, they have helped us through putting our old dog down, various health issues, and regular checkups throughout the years.
