Charlottesville Cat Care Clinic

We love taking our cats here. The level of care and concern for our cats is beyond any vet clinic I’ve ever experienced. It’s so clear that every member cares about the work they do and the quality they provide, from annual checkups to health concerns, to dental procedures. They are open and honest while not making us feel pressured about our choices.

I have since moved from Charlottesville and no longer use the Cat Care Clinic, but I do find myself longing for them in my new home. When searching for the cause of my senior cats wheezing they not only found that he had inflamation in his lungs, but also knew that he would not be able to undergo treatment due to a heart murmur they discovered. They pointed me to a cat cardiologist for further care, and now, he almost seems to be getting younger and more spry with the years. I know he will not be with me forever, but I am grateful that they armed me with the knowledge I needed to provide the best care for him possible to enhance his golden years.

I cannot say enough good things about Cat Care Charlottesville! I am moving countries and had to board 4 cats from 2-4 weeks. I had to travel between states several times to prepare for the move and needed the cats close to DC. Cat Care was fabulous! Not only did they accommodate my needs, they really got to know my kitties. I got pictures, texts and even videos to let me know how they were doing. With all the other stress of moving, knowing my cats were being so well looked after was wonderful. It was an emotional day when we all finally left. Thank you Cat Care and I especially want to thank Angela for taking one stressful thing off my plate!

Our elderly cat was deaf, suddenly blind, and in great distress. When we sought compassionate end-of-life care, the vet pushed additional tests, suggesting we weren’t doing all we could when we asked for euthanasia. Instead of support, we felt judged and pressured, which made an already heartbreaking decision even harder. Families deserve empathy at such moments, not guilt.

I love Charlottesville Cat Care! Our cat Tia was a patient for 18 years. They have a loving & caring team that were always so helpful. It's very convenient that they only treat cats, because there were never any loud dogs barking to stress out my cat during her appointments. The staff at Charlottesville Cat Care were amazing! I would highly recommend them to anyone!
