I used to love this place, though my past experience left me feeling completely ripped off/nickeled & dimed. Due to their policies and hours, I ended up paying $355 when all I needed was ONE night of boarding. I had a trip and was leaving 5am Saturday and returning Sunday morning, so I really only need one night (Saturday), boarding 2 of my dogs. However, they do not offer early morning drop offs, so I had to pay for Friday night ($140) on top of my needed Saturday night. That was not the worst/not being able to drop them off at 5am was understandable. However, what made me angry is I got charged $80 JUST TO PICK UP MY DOGS ON A SUNDAY??? $80 to put my dogs on leashes (slip leads- super easy that the owners own kids were able to do it) and bring them out to my car. My babies know where they’re going the moment we turn onto Belgrade Ave. They absolutely love coming here whether to board or just for daycare. They go in fully energized and leave worn out from playing all day with the staff members and other dogs. My babies and I love the staff. They’re awesome, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I also love that they send my babies home with report cards that talk about their behavior, demeanor and how they ate, along with photos! I highly recommend CPR.

TL;DR - I would not bring my dog back here again. My dog came back covered in urine and we received no updates on his well-being during his stay. This place was also 50% more expensive than our usual boarding spot. Read other reviews as well and you will see plenty of others have had the same experience. I brought my dog here in April, and while I hate leaving bad reviews for any business, my Wife and I were very upset about the conditions our dog was in during his stay. When we showed up we asked to come inside to see where our dog would be staying. We were asked to wait outside for a minute because they were in the middle of “spring cleaning”. I LOVE this Charleston Pet Resort and the people that work there. They do such a good job of making this dog mom heart feel at ease. I know that captain and jojo are in good hands and I could not ask for anything more. ♥️ 🐾
