I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience. My cat is 16 years old and has been on a prescription urinary/stress diet for over 11 years following a severe UTI. He experiences extreme stress during vet visits and even with medication, the clinic was unable to perform a full exam at his August 2024 visit. At that time, I was told sedation would be required for any formal exam, which I did not feel was appropriate given his age, stable health, and lack of symptoms. When I called last week to pick up his prescription food (which he was running low on), I was told I could not purchase it without an annual visit. I explained that I could bring him in, but he had no gabapentin left and asked if I could obtain some prior to the visit to safely transport him. I was told no medication or

I took my puppy for the first time to Central Florida Animal Hospital and had a great experience. The staff was very nice and helpful. They took great care of Loki and took pictures of him for his first visit.

Dr Moja took care of my fur babies for over 25 years. He was the absolute best and I’m so glad he was able to retire! That said, I never realized how much of the practice was his personality and care. First visit post retirement/sale and was told three times “things aren’t how they use to be”. Corporate has policies. Theres no warmth or personality in the office anymore which is unfortunate. There’s still a few locally owned vets in Oviedo. Think I may give them a try.

Been taking our fur-babies loyally to Dr. Moja since the 90s as his outstanding compassion, engagement, dedication, and veterinary medical expertise continue to be demonstrated as top-notch over all others. His consistently exemplary service continues and that keeps us coming back as permanent clients! Keep up the amazing work!

Central Florida Animal Hospital has been my veterinarian since 2011 and honestly, there was no better veterinarian anywhere than Dr. Moja! He saw me through the lives and losses of my three dogs and his level of care was outstanding. BUT….his retirement and my first experience there without him at the helm was enough for me to change vets. I brought my dog in for a sedation and nail grind and ended up paying nearly $500 on tests and meds I didn’t authorize or that she needed. And when I pushed back and was supposed to see a credit for a test they did, I just got the run-around. They swore it was issued but the math didn’t add up. 14 years later, I’ll try another vet. It won’t be Dr Moja’s level of care but neither is Central Florida Animal Hospital without him.
